One of the first things to consider when purchasing a gas furnace is its efficiency. This is indicated by the annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency or AFUE. The higher the AFUE, the more energy efficient the furnace. By replacing an old, low efficiency unit with a new high efficiency model, more of the fuel you pay for is turned into heat.
Trane's XV90 and XL90 gas furnaces, are the most efficient furnaces Trane manufactures. The XV90 two-stage variable speed gas furnace is a technological marvel, actually varying its speed depending upon your home's heating requirements. And because it ramps up slowly, sound is minimized and indoor air quality is improved. It even has our special Comfort-R feature that allows for humidity control during cooling. Its sibling, the XL90 two-stage furnace, uses a more conventional multi-speed blower to combine perfect comfort with optimal efficiency.

Complete system installation includes gas furnace, or an air handler and coil, and outdoor unit installed at the same time. Limited warranties do not include labor or refrigerant.
